Who chose to be counted

Self-hosted software can’t see its own users. This is the number of servers whose admins opened Settings and said “count mine” — nothing more, and nobody who didn’t.

Each server sends, once a day: a monthly-rotating id, its version, CPU architecture, whether it runs the all-in-one image or split containers, and whether it uses the embedded or an external database. No library, no titles, no accounts, no address. The id is a hash of a secret that never leaves the server plus the current month, so two months can’t be linked. The raw numbers this page draws are at /api/hello, and the exact payload is shown in every server’s own Settings before anyone agrees to it.
